USTA 55 and Over Adult League

The Senior League plays in the fall and in the spring of each year. The fall league generally starts in late September and the spring League starts in March. Each league runs approximately 8 weeks. Seniors play on the clay courts at Coosa Country Club. This program consists of the same gender teams competing against each other at the different NTRP levels. Levels of play are Ladies 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and Men's 3.0, 3.5, 4.0. Play is scheduled for once a week alternating on Saturdays and Sundays for all levels, men and women. The format of play for this program is 3 doubles positions for all levels. The winners from each level are given the opportunity to advance to the State Championships. To be eligible to participate in this program, a player must maintain a membership to the United States Tennis Association and be a minimum of 55 years old. A 54 year old may participate if they turn 55 within the calander year of sign up. The cost to participate in this program is $27.00.
